B.Y.O.B. (Bring Your Own Blog) Party at Motherly Law’s Domain

Woo Hoo!! Ultimate Blog Party!!!! Welcome to my site! This is the best kind of party ever! I didn't even have to clean my house, get out of my pjs, put the dogs in the room, or stand in a hot kitchen cooking all day! Note to my regular readers: The Ultimate Blog Party is a way to introduce new readers to my blog and make new bloggy friends. Over the next week, there will be visitors making a stop here to say hi and see what Motherly Law is all about.

 

So, what is Motherly Law all about? Well, let me first introduce myself. I am an attorney, a wife and a mom to two young boys, two giant dogs and 3 aging cats. I am originally from Texas, but now live in the Twin Cities in Minnesota. I work from home as an independent contractor for a legal publishing company and just 6 weeks ago started this blog. What I strive to provide and hope you will find here is relevant, interesting and helpful information on legal issues that affect families, all from the perspective of a mom. So far, I have covered BPA Free laws, the importance of having a will, estate planning when you have a special needs child, bike helmet laws, and texting while driving. I have many, many more interesting topics on my list. I post 3 times a week: an article on the chosen topic on Monday, tips and Web sites pertaining to Monday's topic on Wednesday and a bit of Motherly Advice on Friday.

 

Now take a peek around and see if you find anything that interests you. Please take a minute to read my About page – you will find the link located on the top, right side of the blog – to find out more about me. Oh, one other thing I forgot to mention, my almost 4 year-old son, referred to as Darling 1 on this blog, takes all the photos for my posts. He is quite proud of this fact.

 

Lastly, if I was actually hosting a party in my home, I would for sure have chocolate (something I can't live without) and wine here for you. So, take a second to have a virtual piece of chocolate and glass of wine, red or white, your choice. So much better on the waistline! Enjoy! These virtual parties are great!
