Husband and I do not take the kids out to eat because if we did, we would have the exact same evening you guys did.
I am in Wa State,we are not allowed to drive w/ a cell phone,there is no way I can do two things at once, so I stay away from the hands free device too.

I agree with you on the cell phone usage while driving. I have put the phone down, and I am not using it while driving. It has actually been quite relaxing and liberating.
