Happy Thanksgiving!

Here's a mostly wordless post wishing you and yours a Happy Thanksgiving. This year turned out to be a bit easier to get the dinner on the table.

DH made his wonderful molasses butter turkey after Darling 1 insisted we have a whole turkey for Thanksgiving.

Darling 1 even helped with a few dishes.

I had a row of furry babies waiting to taste-test the turkey.

It may not look like much, but this chocolate, pecan pie was really good - and easy.

Now it's time to gear up to go out shopping. Anyone else going out tonight or early in the morning?

Enjoy the rest of your holiday weekend. Safe travels to those on the road. Happy shopping to those trying to win big with the Black Friday deals. I'll be back on Saturday summing up the Sunday Spotlight opinions. Over and out...
