And there will be times when hanging on is all you can do
Know always that hanging on is more than enough
~from a bookmark from Solace Creek, Impressions to Heal the Soul
In the last few weeks, I have heard, read and known so many heartbreaking stories of death, illness, sadness and setbacks. Why do these things seem to come all at once, crowding in, blocking the sunlight, muffling the birds' sweet songs and smothering the cooling breezes, leaving in its wake darkness, stillness and dankness?
These occurrences make it hard to imagine better, happier times, but as the passage above says all we have to do is hang on; trust and hang on. Life will look different down the road; we will hear the bird sing once again, feel the gentle breeze on our skin and be mesmerized by the dazzling bright sun. We will; just hang on.
It's Saturday…. Go eat some chocolate {this actually applies to everyday}. It's good for you, and you deserve it!

Nota Bene: I hold these truths to be self-evident, that all parents and kids are not created equally, but are wholly individual in personality and style. Regardless of these differences, the basic needs of love, patience and support remain constant. Here are the weekly affirmations, tips and reminders. Unless otherwise noted, these are entirely my opinion. Take them with a grain of salt, or not!
