You have your way. I have my way. As for the right way, the correct way, and the only way, it does not exist.
~Friedrich Nietzsche
Perspective. That is the word that has come to mind over and over to me this week.
Perspective; how one views his surroundings; how one sees his world; the capacity to view things in relation to its proper importance.
Of course, the perspective of a person in her 20s is not the same as someone in her 30s just as the perspective of a person in her 40s differs from the person in her 30s and so on and so forth.
A person without children has a different perspective than a person with children. A person with limited funds has a different perspective than a person with unlimited funds; a person who has survived a grave illness has a different perspective than those who haven't faced such an ordeal, etc., etc.
Everyone has a different perspective on life, depending on his or her personal experiences and beliefs. And our perspectives change as we move along the spectrum of life. We harden and soften; we expand and contract; we win and lose; we give and take; and we teach and we're taught.
We must remember that each of us have different perspectives, as each of us has a different journey to make. We must have patience with ourselves and others.
Over and out...
Anna
